Scene: From Syria
A new series of artworks where I capture brief moments from the past from different Arab countries. This scene takes place in the old days of Syria where a sewing machine is a common household item.⠀
Here we see a Syrian grandmother, using the sewing machine with a smile on her face. The sounds of the fan, birds, etc add to the atmosphere. There a lot of little things relevant to that time period that I am fascinated by leading me to create this series that aim to appreciate those little things.
